augh... pixar threw a little 4th of july party today... all american food from beer, wine coolers to hot dogs and twinkies. i started with a twinkie and a hostess cup cake. man, i don't remember those things being to brutal. good thing i chased them down with huge sausage in a bun. yeah, great idea. oh, the pain... my stomach does not approve.

how funny lis!! when i talked to you on saturday, it was sunny and warm all around.. now, today, it was gray here too! i wouldn't be surprised if it had rained without my knowledge, seeing as how i am indoors all day :)

anyways.. i just did something dumb :) haha.. i had a guy come in to fix my "broken" light (thinking i needed a new light bulb..) but all i really needed was to plug it in!!! he spent like 5 seconds plugging it in and then (i was *hooooping* it wouldn't turn on so i didn't seem that dumb... but of course, we all know what happens in real life.. ) it turned on! completely embarrassed, i apologized and thanked him profusely :) haha, luckily, the guy seemed to think it was all very "entertaining" .. :)

gosh, just when i want to appear professional and stuff too!! lol...

what started off as a pleasant monday morning (see my blog for details) has slowed to a drag...
while i am confined to my shuttle, fortunately there is also an earlier shuttle that will wisk me away from this. that means i am just about done with my day.

i nearly froze at my desk today. i was shivering and had goose bumps (or goose pimples as i like to call them...heehee). it was just so cold. i decided to go outside to warm up. only problem was it wasn't even that warm outside. to make matters worse, it started to rain...then to pour...then to thunderstorm. i was inside by that point of course. in any case, i am quite ill-prepared for this weather so i sure hope it has stopped for when i go home.
