alright, i have a small technical question... my cousin is working on setting up a cgi script for her website. i have never done this before, so i told her i'd ask my friends. has any of you done this? if so... how does it work and actually, what is it? she stole a script from another page but it just looks just like a perl script.

sorry, i don't mean to turn this page into a tech blogger... so feel free to just respond to me.

thanks!

hi folks...not sure who of you knew i ran a 4-mile race on Saturday--i actually talk about it in my blog--but in case you haven't read it, i just wanted to report that my official time was 33:45! thinking back to my running days, that's probably not a great time but i'm happy because it's seriously been over 5 years since i've raced anything. i placed 707 out of 2172 women runners. it was just a really great experience and i'm so happy i did it!

another thing i am happy to have discovered is the new show "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy!" have any of you seen it?? i watched it for the first time last night...this show is hilarious! it cracked me up, at least! =) here's a brief description of the show, "They are the Fab Five: an elite team of gay men dedicated to extolling the simple virtues of style, taste and class. Each week their mission is to transform a style-deficient and culture-deprived straight man from drab to fab in each of their respective categories: fashion, food & wine, interior design, grooming and culture." It's on BravoTV but I think they might be showing an episode this Thursday on NBC right after "Will & Grace"...quite appropriately. =)

Hm, proview? I don't think I recognized it when you first mentioned it... but its very possible. There are quite a few small companies in our building. Also some big companies that seem to have small offices since IBM takes up about 5/8s of the building. I may need to check this out.

Apologies for not coming out for baseball. Also played baseball yesterday with some Lowell people. There's actually quite a few baseball diamonds in SF. West Sunset (3 baseball fields, 1 soccer field), South Sunset (2 baseball fields, few basketball courts), and Moscone fields (4 baseball fields - well maintained, the ground is kinda bouncy) and probably a bunch more.

Today, I'm really hoping its NOT baseball... and its with church people, not coworkers (church starts at 3:30; usually start summer sports around 6:15). Really hoping its ultimate frisbee/volleyball today :o) Ultimate frisbee is soooooo much more fun than baseball (or basketball, hehe).
