Looking forward to seeing all of you Sat. Wanted to get advice from you guys since I figure you all have dvd players now...
1. Should I get progressive scan (I think my tv at home is 27' if not 32)?
2. Does your dvd player play dvd-rw format?
3. Does it play dvd+rw format? (As there are two competing formats, right? or do most dvd players support both?)
4. Dvd player you really (dis/)like that I should look into (avoiding/)getting
Was looking at amazon and bestbuy and they don't really mention anything about dvd-rw/+rw.

Bought my LOTR III ticket before reading the blog... but enjoy. Everyone I watched it with thought it was very, very good. Having read the book (2-3 years ago), part of the joy/suspense was dulled from knowing what would probably happen next.

And I have a Charlie Brown Christmas!

Btw, just saw LOTR III...I won't comment so as not to set any expectations. But if you really want to know what i think, you can check my blog.

I won't have time to watch it with you guys this weekend unfortunately...but if you guys have time, you should throw together a marathon. Don't let Ryan go around having not seen the Two Towers...it'll be like him not seeing Back to the Future. =P
