hey guys! haha i bet you thought i had died or somehow lost my typing fingers or something eh? hehe.. nope nope.. still alive and well! i actually got cable modem at my apartment up here, so i've been trolling around online a little bit more.... i saw allen and howard a few days ago, you could be my next target!

anyways, i wanted to echo the "happy new years" sentiment and say.. wow, can you believe it's "our" year again? last time it was the year of the monkey, i was twelve (or, we all were 12) and thinking that 24 would be a loooong way coming! i can't even think about being 36 yet. although i have to say these past twelve years have been pretty swell i guess :) i didn't know any of you wonderful people when i was 12, so things do get better with time! hehe..

Larry, it'll be so cool for you to go to China--I want to go too! But I have heard of SARS creeping back up and that new bird flu! But hopefully when you get to go, things will be all under control.

In other news, remember how I told you guys I applied to be a volunteer at the Olympics in Greece? That was about two years ago so you've probably long forgotten...as did I...but I just received my volunteer questionnaire in the mail yesterday! How exciting! Chances are I won't go--at the time I signed up, I didn't expect to be working. But I haven't gotten a chance to look into it yet so we'll see. Anyway, this is just a teaser to say that I'll be going to Greece but it won't actually happen (a la Allen). heehee...
